170-110 Headsail boom kit, round alloy tube 11 mm dia, 400 mm long. For IOM No A, B or C rig
Headsail boom kit based on 11 mm diameter alloy round section. This kit contains the spar material and fittings required to make a No 1, 2 or 3 headsail boom for an IOM. When the fitting are correctly placed on the boom to suit the sails and deck fittings they can be locked in place using cyanoacrylate glue.
No counterbalance weight is provided with this item. Choose counterbalance weight ref 102-15 or 102-20 depending on the length of boom and weight of the sail. You can epoxy the counterweight in place as shown on drawing or purchase item 402-09 forward end jib boom fitting.
